FANCI provides nurse delegation and consultant services to agencies that operate one or more community residential, vocational and day habilitation programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our nursing services include but not limited to the following:

1. Initial health/nursing assessment.
2. Development of individualized nursing care plan.
3. Participation as a member of the agencies interdisciplinary team at admissions, annual individual planning and standing committee meetings.
4. Coordination of hospitalization and discharge planning. 
5. Regular monitoring, including 45-day assessments of individuals.
6. Ongoing review of all physician and dentist orders.
7. Initial Certified Medication Technician Training (MTTP).
8. Bi-annual MTTP recertification and other in-services.
9. Initial and annual observation of certified medication technicians.
10. Ongoing review of medical or medication errors and retraining of medication technicians.
11. Consultation with physicians, staff, and individuals on health-related issues.
